The ICC will cut ticket prices for the backup sixth day of the final of the India-New Zealand World Test Championship, which has been hit hard by bad weather.
After the game was washed out on the first day, 64.4 over-bowls were observed on the second day, while 76.3 overs were sent between the two teams on the third day on Sunday.
The game on the fourth day is also affected, as the first session has already been washed away and the sixth day, which the ICC had kept as a reserve, is certainly coming into force.
“Yes, ticket prices for the sixth day will be reduced. This is standard practice for test matches played in the UK. As the test match is only open to UK residents, the ICC follows the same guidelines,” a source told ICC. PTI on Monday.
For the WTC final, tickets are priced at three plates – 150 GBP (15 444 INR), 100 GBP (10 296 INR) and 75 GBP (7722 INR).
The new prices will be GBP 100 (INR 10 296), GBP 75 (INR 7722) and GBP 50 (INR 5148).
