The second one-day international between the West Indies and Australia was postponed on Thursday after an official from the host country tested positive for coronavirus.
The man was not named by Cricket West India.
In case of a positive test, the serial protocols indicate both teams and the employees of the match will return immediately to their hotel and will be re-tested. They remain isolated depending on the test results.
“The decision on when the match will be replayed will be made at a later date after all test results are confirmed,” said CWI.
The third and final day-night match is scheduled for Saturday.
The throw for the second ODI was won by Australia, who chose to fight first at the Kensington Oval.
Australia won its first ODI on Tuesday with 133 tracks.
