Apple iPad Pro, iMac and Apple TV 4K received upgrades at Tuesday’s Apple event. While the new iMac, also known as the iMac (2021), received an entirely new avatar, the Cupertino-based company made significant changes to the iPad Pro, bringing its M1 chip and Pro Display XDR with mini LED support. The company also updated Apple TV 4K with improved hardware and a redesigned Siri Remote. In parallel with these improvements, Apple at its virtual event “Spring Loaded” introduced the long-awaited Bluetooth tracker AirTag and surprised people with the purple version of its iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. This week’s showstop Apple event is not another but iPad Pro (2021) who debuted with M1 chip – Silicon, which the company initially offered on its MacBooks and Mac mini last year. Introducing the new chipset, instead of upgrading its A-series chips, Apple has taken the new iPad Pro to new levels. Users can also add the standard Magic Keyboard accessory to get a full computing experience – minus macOSalthough. Besides, there is 5G support for a faster connectivity experience.
Apple also brought mini-LED display technology iPad Pro 12.9-inch option. It is designed to deliver not only vivid colors, but the huge 1600 nits of peak brightness and sharp colors. This can turn the iPad Pro into a device for designers and people around the world to create content.
However, like any other good thing, the new iPad Pro is nowhere available or convenient for pockets starts from Rs. 71 900 for the 11-inch variant, while the 12.9-inch model carries a starting price of Rs. 99,900, which is even higher than the base MacBook Air (M1, 2020).
Along with the iPad Pro (2021), Apple has introduced on iMac (2021) which reminds us of older iMac models thanks to its many color options. The new iMac also has a slim design and is powered by the same M1 chip found on the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini and the latest iPad Pro.
The iMac (2021) also comes with a 24-inch display and all-new speakers.
Apple also upgraded Apple TV 4K with the new hardware tweaks and the main focus is the new Siri Remote, which supports touch gestures. In addition, the event brought on AirTag Bluetooth tracker that works with Find my app to allow you to track and find lost items. AirTag was in rumors from a long time.
