Watch the trailer for Netflix’s next superhero series, The Legacy of Jupiter

Written by admin

Jupiter’s legacy comes in May on Netflix and we already have the first trailer. On Wednesday, Netflix gave us the first correct look at its next superhero series, adapted from the eponymous comic book series by writer Mark Millar and illustrator Frank Kuwait. In Jupiter’s Legacy, second-generation superheroes struggle to fulfill the legendary ideals established by their superpowered parents. Stephen C. Decaitte (Spartacus, A daredevil) created the Netflix series, but then left due to creative differences, and Sang Kyu Kim (Altered Carbon) took on the duties of a showrunner in Jupiter’s Legacy.

“Don’t you remember the island and what we had to do to gain that strength?” An unseen character says at the beginning of the Jupiter Legacy trailer as a group of adults and their very old versions are shown. “Ninety years and what do we have to show for that?” Sheldon asks Shell Sampson / The Utopian (Josh Duhamel). To which his older brother Walter Sampson / Brainwave (Ben Daniels) replies, “We made a difference, Shell.”

Shell’s son Brandon Sampson / Paragon (Andrew Horton) later asks Walter what his father was like when he was younger. “Nothing ever shook the b-tard,” Watler said. Brandon notes that “the man I knew was never home when I was a child. Too busy to save the world. “Later, Dad told Brandon and his daughter Chloe Sampson (Elena Camporis) that everything they do affects the family.” You have to be the ideal, “he added.

“No one can handle the ideal, not even Dad,” Chloe replies in frustration as we see her launch a yellow Lamborghini Huracán, a $ 200,000 / Rs supercar. 3 crores or more – in anger. Elsewhere, Shell complains that “they” (a young superhero team he’s building) aren’t even close to being ready, and that he’s doing his best not to break up the family. We see a bunch of superpowers on display, from superspeed, super reflexes and energy manipulation.

It is the legacy of Jupiter first project this stems from 2017 on Netflix acquisition of Millarworld, the comic book brand founded by Millar. His work in Millarworld has also been adapted into films, including “Wanted” by Angelina Jolie, The I kick my ass series and Kingsman franchise.

In addition to Duhamel, Daniels, Horton, and Camporis, Jupiter’s Legacy also stars Leslie Bibb as the wife of Shell Grace Sampson / Lady Liberty, Matt Lanter as Shell’s closest ally George Hutchene / Skyfox, and Mike Wade.
