Players from Sri Lanka and the West Indies lay on the ground after a swarm of bees entered the land in Antigua.

The third and final ODI match in the series, played between Sri Lanka and the West Indies, was briefly suspended due to strange scenes that are rarely seen on cricket. At one point in the match, all the players were seen lying upside down in the field; forcing the match to stop and his video becoming more and more viral on social media.

In fact, the last match of the ODI series of three matches was also played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua. In which the West Indies decided to bowling first after winning the tot.

What looked like a normal cricket match turned “terrible” in the 38th inning when Anderson Philip of Windy came into the cup. After the first ball a swarm of bees suddenly hit the ground. To avoid this, all players, including the referee, lay on the ground, stopping the match live in the middle. Thus, the match was stopped for a while and then the game started again. The video of this incident is now becoming more viral on social media.

Speaking of the match, Sri Lanka set a goal of 275 runs in front of Windies while playing first. The goal was easily achieved by Windy thanks to Darren Bravo’s stunning inning of 102 years. Not only that, after winning this match, Windy also won the victory of Sri Lanka, winning all three matches out of three matches in the ODI series.

In the T20 series, Windy won 2-1. Then Windy also washed Sri Lanka at home in the ODI series. A series of two matches will now be played between the two countries. Which will start on March 21.
