Third-placed Juventus were seven points behind Milan after losing 1-0 to Napoli in Naples on Saturday night. The nine-time defender of the champion has played a game less than the teams of Milan.
Lorenzo Insine completed his penalty from Juventus to help Napoli beat Juventus. Cristiano Ronaldo had an unsuccessful outing with the Portuguese superstar, who failed to impose three chances that fell to him, including two shots on target.
Insigne missed their previous three penalties against Juventus – including last month in a 2-0 loss to the Italian Super Cup – but it came in the 31st minute after a handball by Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini.
Napoli moved to fourth place, over Roma and Lazio with a goal difference. He was two points below Juventus.
It was the first league match between Napoli and Juventus this season. The match in October in Turin was canceled due to cases of coronavirus, and Napoli suffered a default loss of 3-0 and reached a point. This was canceled on appeal, but the match has not yet been rescheduled.
