The microblogging and social networking service Twitter on Tuesday announced plans to expand its engineering team in India, which it has identified as a priority market and one of the fastest growing markets worldwide.
As part of these plans, the company announced the appointment of Apurva Dalal as Director of Engineering, with over two decades of engineering experience spanning global organizations such as Uber,, Google, and eBay.
Most recently, he served as the site manager for Uber Bengaluru. Apurva is now becoming the oldest member of Twitter engineering team in the country.
Based in Bengaluru, he will be responsible for strengthening the company’s engineering capacity and offering local and global audiences.
