Indian team against County Select XI

Young opener Haseeb Hameed celebrates his test recall with a winning hundred even Umesh Yadav made several magic spells and was largely responsible in India for the Select County XI bowling alley for 220 on the second day of the warm-up first-class game.

Returning to the England team after nearly five years, right-hander Hamid justified his reputation by being called the “Baby Boys” for his stubborn defensive play as former great Jeffrey Boycott with a tap of 112 to 246 balls. His inning had 13 limits.

For India, Umesh was the hallmark of bowling, as he bowled on short spells and worked fairly fast with 3/22 numbers for 15 overs.

Mohamed Siraj (2/32 on 13 over) certainly won the best delivery of the day, rushing his compatriot Washington Sundar (2), representing the county.

Umesh may still not reach player XI in Nottingham, but his performance will certainly be of interest to the team’s management.

Jasprit Bumrah (1/29 on 15 overs) didn’t hand out loose deliveries, but saved Rob Yates’ goal, where the left-hander went for a non-existent cropped photo to an upright delivery, he nearly disturbed Hamid, who defended him comfortably most of the time.

It was Umesh who, for the first time, threw the right opening device to Jake Libby with an angular delivery, who saw that two of the three stumps had been thrown back. Siraj received a nasty short ball that suddenly climbed into Washington and flew off his gloves for an easy catch in the cordon.

Umesh’s second victim was rival Captain Will Rhodes, who lost his stump when a fast-paced bowling ball went around the door and the delivery stood up after hitting the left-hander.

After County XI unwound 56 to 4, Lyndon James, 27, gave Hameed good support in their 75-fold position for the fifth goal. Hameed was waiting for bad deliveries and was ready to release and release these singles and couples.

Umesh’s third goal was a short ball, and James mistakenly pulled out a shot from Shardul. Hamid seemed the best against Ravindra Jadeja (15-3-55-1), who was penalized for several runs. He got closer to a hundred shots in terms of Jadea’s wide long bowling.

A tapped single to a short average wicket from Shardul brought his hundred of 228 balls. His inning ended with an advantage of KL Rahul from Shardul, who had 1/31 of 14 overs.

Short results: India 1st guests 311. County XI 220 in 82.3 over (Hasib Hamid 112 from 246 balls, Umesh Yadav 3/27, Mohamed Siraj 2/32).
