Oppo A5 2020, Oppo A9 2020, Oppo A73 5G, Oppo A91 and Oppo Reno Z receive a stable update based on Android 11 ColorOS 11. The update is released in India, Australia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Most of these smartphones were released with Android 9 Pie and have received a stable update to Android 10 before. Apart from the Oppo, the A73 5G launches with Android 10. There is limited information on the Android 11 updates that are said to be available for these Oppo smartphones.
The schedule for releasing updates in May was announced via a tweet earlier that Oppo makes for each month. According to a report by GizmoChina, Oppo A5 2020,, Oppo A9 2020,, Oppo A73 5G,, Oppo A91, and Oppo Reno Z now they began to receive the promise ColorOS 11, based on Android 11 updates in India and other regions. Опо has not yet shared detailed change logs with updates for these smartphones.
The updates are said to be released in stages, so it may take some time to reach all eligible Oppo smartphones. To check for an update manually, go to Settings> Software updates.
According to the report, the Oppo A5 2020 and Oppo A9 2020, running the firmware versions C.75 / C.76, will be able to receive the F.03 firmware version in India and Indonesia. Oppo A73 5G will need firmware versions A.11 / A.13 / A.15 to update it to firmware version C.03 in Australia, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The Oppo A91 will need firmware versions C.51 / C.53 to update to the F.11 firmware version in Indonesia. Finally, the Oppo Reno Z requires firmware version C.35 to be updated to firmware version F.02 in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
In April, Oppo F11 Pro received based on Android 11 update ColorOS 11 in India. While the size of the update was confirmed by a user of Twitter, Oppo also did not publish information about the change log packaged for update at that time.
