The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G and Samsung Galaxy A22 4G are reportedly under development. The phones are expected to launch worldwide soon, and now the company’s website in Russia has made the Samsung Galaxy A22 4G support page live. This suggests a recent launch on the Russian market. Images and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G and Samsung Galaxy A22 4G have also expired in the past, and recently the 4G variant was spotted at Geekbench.
The official Samsung Russian website has listed Samsung Galaxy A22 4G with model number SM-A22FN / DSN. Noticed first from MySmartPrice, this is the same model number that is listed on multiple certification sites such as the FCC, TO, and TÜV Rhineland. The support page does not provide details on the specifications or design of the Samsung Galaxy A22, but hints that the official launch may not be too far away.
Last month, Samsung Galaxy A22 4G was spotted on the Geekbench website with the same model number listed on the support page. The advice is that it is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, packs 6 GB of RAM and runs on Android 11 OS. Past leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A22 4G may have a 6.6-inch HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a 5000 mAh battery with 15W charging support.
Expired renderings claim that the Samsung Galaxy A22 4G may have a cut-out drop-shaped display with a light chin at the bottom. It is tilted to have a square-shaped camera module, just like the 5G model, but it has four sensors instead of three. This setting is expected to include a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is reported on the front that the phone has a 13-megapixel selfie sensor. In the 4G variant, a fingerprint sensor is also visible in the display.
Samsung has not made any announcements regarding the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A22 series.
