Twitter is adding a field of facts to users’ timelines to help promote ongoing COVID-19 vaccination efforts. The new feature will provide people around the world with the latest information on vaccines in their particular country, according to a report. The feature will appear as a large, airtight box at the top of the Twitter user feed for iOS and Android apps, making users make sure you have the latest information on coronavirus vaccinations (COVID-19).

Like reports from The Verge, touching the link will take the user to a new one Twitter a vaccine information event page displayed as a series of tweets collected from organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), at least in the United States.

The guidance table will be divided into several sections, with details of the effectiveness of the vaccine, potential side effects, advice for pregnant women and more. This is the latest effort of a large technology company to help promote COVID-19 vaccines and provide useful information to consumers.

Besides Twitter, the social media platform Facebook recently added vaccination information from country to country to its US News Feed while YouTube runs an advertising campaign for PSA to encourage people to take vaccine photos.

Twitter India recently said that it took 100 posts and URLs after the government asked them to remove content that is critical to tackling the current medical crisis or spreading fake news about the pandemic.
