The Mi 10i has become the No. 5G in India in terms of deliveries, Xiaomi revealed on Friday. The company quoted IDC India Monthly Smartphone Tracker for its request. The Mi 10i was launched in the Indian market in January as a diluted version of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. Xiaomi pointed out that the Mi 10i is specially customized, given the Indian audience. The phone has a quadruple rear camera setting with a 108-megapixel primary sensor and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. The Mi 10i is essentially the renamed Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, which Xiaomi released in China in November.
The official Xiaomi account in India on Twitter revealed that Mi 10i appeared as number one 5G phone in the country. IDC confirmed to Gadgets 360 that the smartphone’s leadership position is based on its shipments recorded in January 2021. However, the market research firm does not provide any specific shipment numbers or details of the models that are in second and third place in terms of shipments.

Mi 10i was starts with a starting price of Rs. 20,999 for 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage configuration. It is also available in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage options that are offered on Rs. 21 999 and Rs. Respectively 23 999.

Mi 10i comes with MIUI 12 and features a 6.67-inch full-HD + (1080×2,400 pixels) display with up to 120Hz adaptive sync refresh rate. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, along with up to 8GB of RAM. The phone also has a quad-rear camera that houses the 108-megapixel primary sensor Samsung HM2 with f / 1.75 lens, along with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel macro shooting and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
For selfies and video calls, the Mi 10i offers a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera sensor. It is paired with an f / 2.45 lens and is supported by software features such as Night mode and AI Beautify.
The Mi 10i has up to 128 GB of built-in storage. It also includes connectivity options such as 5G, 4G LTE, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. You will also receive a 4820 mAH battery along with 33 W fast charging support.
