Vivo S9 will be released in China on March 3 at 19:30 local time (IST conversion), the company announced through a publication on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The phone will be the company’s newest participant in the S series, and although the company has not officially shared any specifications for it, there are several leaks and rumors that suggest that this may be the first phone with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC. The upcoming smartphone may also have dual selfie cameras on the front.
Launch Vivo S9
Vivo led to Weibo to title the release date of the Vivo S9 in China. The phone will debut on March 3 and at the moment there is no information about prices or availability. The Vivo S9 will probably be available first in China and then to other regions.

Last week the specifications for the Vivo S9 were expiredshowing storage options 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The phone is available with a triple rear camera setting and dual selfie cameras. His predecessor, I live S7, also has dual selfie cameras and the Vivo S9 is expected to carry a similar design as the Vivo S7.
I live S9 can be powered from MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, which was announced last month. This SoC will give the phone 5G connectivity. It is expected to feature a 6.4-inch display and dual selfie camera setup, which includes a 44-megapixel primary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
The phone was already noticed on a 3C certificate list earlier this month, which hinted at 33W fast charging support. The phone can have up to 12 GB of RAM and work Android 11 out of the box. The Vivo S9 is also available with a 90 Hz refresh rate display, a 64-megapixel main camera on the back and a 4000 mAh battery.
