The JioPages web browser is now available on Android TV

JioPages, the web browser offered by telecommunications giant Reliance Jio, debuted on Android TV. The latest update provides JioPages on smart TVs based on Android TV. The web browser supports eight Indian languages ​​and includes features such as a special video section and a PDF reader to make it easier for Smart TV users to browse the web. JioPages also offers a news section that allows Smart TV viewers to watch current news in one of the eight supported languages ​​and even download e-newspapers to read news on a larger screen. The JioPages browser arrived as an update to JioBrowser for Android mobile users and is said to have over 10 million downloads on the platform.

Like any other web browser available for smart TVs, JioPages allows users to surf the web directly from their larger screens. Comes with a special search bar and voice search support for easy online content search. Users can also bookmark their favorite sites or access their browsing history. It also allows you to check what is being downloaded to your smart TV via the built-in Download Manager. In addition, the JioPages web browser has a quick links section to allow you to quickly visit popular sites from a single screen.

JioPages offers incognito mode – along with the default browsing mode – to enable private browsing. It also includes a video section with more than 10,000 selected content categorized into over 20 categories, such as Music, Movies, Kids, and Lifestyle, among others. It also has regional content, along with the ability to customize the default news feed in your preferred language. Android TV users can also download PDF files directly from the JioPages browser to read documents on their TV.

You can Download JioPages on your Android-based Smart TV by going to Google Play. The application is available under the title JioPagesTV to distinguish between the mobile version of JioPages.

Before the latest version, JioPages was available for Android smartphone users. Gio also made it available to Jio Set-Top-Box to provide a similar web browsing experience to its Set-Top-Box users.
