iQoo 8 will be unveiled on August 4 according to the latest leaks and a teaser video by a company executive. The iQoo 7 series launches in China in January and then in India in April. This was a flagship proposal and iQoo 8 is expected to be the same. Some of its specifications have also been reviewed and the phone is powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. So far, iQoo has not confirmed that it will launch a new phone next month.

iQoo President Feng Yufei shared a video on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo showing a pool table with a number eight ball, a hitting and dipping ball with the number four. Although there is no confirmation in the publication itself, it is believed that a new iQoo smartphone will arrive on August 4. The eight balls can also be a reference to iQoo 8.

Giving this speculation more weight was a post from Weibo’s Tipslab tipslab, saying the iQoo 8 will launch on August 4 and will be the first phone with the Snapdragon 888 Plus. Then, tipster Digital Chat Station (in translation) too published Weibo that the iQoo 8 has a model number V2141A and that it will come with a display measuring 1,440×3,200 pixels, which has a high refresh rate. The tipster added that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC and will come with 12GB of RAM with 4GB of expanded memory. The phone can also come with 256GB of storage and works with OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.

More information on the iQoo 8 rumors is expected to be released soon.

The iQoo 7 launched in India in April together with iQoo 7 Legend. The IQoo 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC, while the Legend variant is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. iQoo 7 starts with Rs. 31,990, and the iQoo 7 Legend starts at Rs. 39 990. The company can follow the same model with iQoo 8.
