The design of the iPhone 13 Pro Max is offered in a practical video showing its alleged mannequin. The new iPhone, which is likely to be part of the company’s product range in 2021, seems to have a thinner slot than the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It is also rumored that the iPhone 13 Pro Max brings a completely new system of rear cameras with larger sensors. Rumor has it that the iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available with a 120 Hz display. However, this is not something that can be judged from the fictitious video.
The YouTube channel Unbox Therapy has published a practical video showing the alleged dummy of iPhone 13 Pro Max. The mannequin is said to be made in China and implies a significant increase in the size of the camera modules compared to those of iPhone 12 Pro Max. However, the number of sensors remains the same, which in both cases is three – together with a separate LiDAR sensor and LED flash module.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max may also include an improved slot, which may be smaller in size, as suggested in the video. The fictitious hints that in addition to the size, the slot of the new iPhone model can carry the handset on top. This is unlike existing iPhone models, where the handset is available in the center of the slot. The change in the position of the handset may be to make room for the TrueDepth camera system, although it offers a thinner design.
Apple is also likely to provide some slight color changes to the iPhone 13 Pro Max through iPhone 12 family. The mannequin shows the iPhone in graphite color, but is not identical to the same shade available on last year’s iPhone model. The back has a darker shade, while the antennas are lighter than those of the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max is also recommended to have small differences compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max when it comes to its size. There may be a slightly thicker design as it appears on the mannequin.
Unlike existing iPhone models, it is rumored that there is an iPhone 13 Pro Max Tap ID support – in addition to Face ID. The mannequin appeared in the video, but did not confirm whether Apple will go with built-in fingerprint technology or offer your own Touch ID technology built into the power button.
