The cast of The Witcher Season 2 is expanding. On Monday, Netflix announced seven new cast members and related characters to play in The Witcher Season 2. We have Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton) as Nenneke, Cassie Clare (What Happened to Monday) as Philippa Eilhart, Liz Carr, Abnormally Funny People )) as Fan, Graham McTavish (The Hobbit trilogy) as Sigismund Dijkstra, Kevin Doyle (Happy Valley) as Ba’lian, Simon Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral) as Codringer, and Chris Fulton (King of law) such as Riens. Ba’lian is a new character, while the other six come from Andrzej Sapkowski’s books The Witcher. Here are the seven new characters from The Witcher from season 2 of Netflix:
As a priestess, Nenneke (Adjoa Andoh) is a mother figure of many lost travelers who find themselves seeking refuge at the gates of the Melitele Temple. She has grown a lot, including Geralt, back to health with her elixirs, ointments and level tips.
Flat parts charming and welcoming, Philippa Aylhart (Cassie Clare) is the chief adviser to King Vizimir of Redania. Her ability to transfer images – and literally – moves forms through courts and parties, makes her one of the most influential magicians in continental politics.
As head of the secret service of the Redan Intelligence Service, the double crosses did not make wells across the continent. Sigismund Dijkstraname (Graham McTavish) when whispered. His impressive style and physical strength are second only to his knowledge of kings and magicians and getting everything he wants.
After escaping the violent benefits of the north, Ba’lian (Kevin Doyle) is one of many elves seeking safe refuge in unexpected places on the continent. Bold and principled, his journey intersects with some surprising characters who are inspired by his refusal to come down without a fight.
A sadistic magician with a penchant for fire, Riens (Chris Fulton) is hired by a mysterious lord to chase a jewel. His cruel tactics leave deep scars wherever he goes … though he will try in vain to escape without some of his own.
Partners in crime – allegedly solving crimes – Codringer (Simon Callow) and Hairdryer (Liz Carr) are engaged in the information business: collecting, knowing, discovering and even burying the exact price. Codringer acts as the face of the business, while Fenn remains buried in his research; none of them has ever been presented with an all-encompassing mystery like the one that is about to enter their Dorian office.
Andoh, Clare, Carr, McTavish, Doyle, Callow and Fulton join nine other new members of The Witcher from Season 2, who were announced earlier: Kim Bodnia (The Bridge) as Vesemir, Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones) as Nivellen, Yasen Atour (Young Wallander), as Coen, Agnes Bjorn (Monster) as Vereena, Paul Bullion (Peaky Blinders) as Lambert, Basil Eidenbenz (The Athena) as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross (The Danish Girl) as Lydia , Rebecca Hansen (Tell the Bees) as Queen Meve and the rising star Bear Simson as Francesca.
The Witch Season 2 also returns Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as the sorceress Yenefer, Freya Allen as the crown of Sintra Ciri, Joey Bethey as bard Yaskier, Eamon Farron as commander of the army of Nilfgaardian Cealah, Miana Baring as Magnes Yerneresres mentor Istredd, Mimi Ndiweni as the sorceress Fringilla Vigo, Anna Shaffer as the sorceress Triss Merigold and Mahesh Jadu as the sorcerer Vilgefortz of Roggeveen.
The Witcher season 2 will come out later in 2021 in Netflix.
