Following the recent criticism of the BCCI; Accusing them of not doing enough for the Indian women’s cricket team, its special women’s handle on Twitter posted a video of the women’s cricket team sweating in the gym trying to prepare for the Indian tour of England, which includes test match.
Entering Twitter, the official report of BCCI Women posted a video of the players who train in the gym, and the caption reads: “Shut up! We are INDIA.”
The Indian team is currently in quarantine in Mumbai before the UK tour. The test will be the first in India in seven years.
In addition to the one-off test, the women’s team will play three ODIs and three T20Is against England. The two teams will face off in a four-day test match starting on June 16th. The ODI series will begin on June 27 with matches to be played in Bristol, Taunton and Worcester.
Earlier, the third Twenty20 for women between India and England in the county of Cloudfm in Chelmsford was extended by one day until July 14 for “broadcasting purposes”.
