The successors to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 do not yet have a release date, but a few leaks and tips offer an idea of what to expect from the upcoming foldable phones. In a new leak, the color options for both phones have appeared online. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 2 (not the official name) is expected to be available in four color options. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 (not the official name), on the other hand, can have at least two color options. It is also suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 may be available with water resistance. There are also some details about the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 and Galaxy Watch 4.
A report from SamMobile suggests that Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 2 will be available in black, beige, green and light purple. The Galaxy Z Flip , which launched in February last year, is available in three color options – Mirror Black, Mirror Purple and Mirror Gold. The report adds that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be available in black and green. It states that there may be more color options when the phone officially launches. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 Available in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze.
Additionally, a wizard with the username @ chunvn8888 tweet that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 may be available with water resistance, but may not have an IP rating. This means that the phone will not be officially waterproof, but can be protected against splashes.
In addition, the same hint also shared some details about the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 rumors (not the official names). There will be no major design changes for the upcoming generation of smartwatches from Samsung. The Galaxy Watch 4 may be available with a rotating panel, but the Galaxy Watch Active 4 does not. Interestingly, the wizard also said that the new Galaxy Watch models will run on Google’s Wear OS, instead of the Tizen-based wearable operating systems that are commonly found in Samsung’s smartwatches.
So far, the South Korean technology giant has not shared any details about its upcoming folding smartphones or the next generation of smartwatches.
