The launch of the Samsung Galaxy F22 in India is scheduled for July 6, the Korean company confirmed via Flipkart. According to the list of the e-commerce site, Samsung Galaxy F22 will have a 90Hz HD + display, 48-megapixel quad-rear camera and 6,000 mAh battery. This will be the fourth smartphone in the Galaxy F series – after the Galaxy F02s, Galaxy F12 and Galaxy F62 – to debut in India in 2021. The Samsung Galaxy F22 will have a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, as shown by the Google Play Console List.
The Samsung Galaxy F22 will be sold on Flipkart as well enumeration revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone. The handset will feature a 6.4-inch HD + sAMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the phone cover, the phone will be powered by MediaTek MT6769T, which is MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, paired with 4 GB of RAM.
Looking at these specs, the Samsung Galaxy F22 is probably the rebranded version of the Galaxy A22 that it was starts in Europe earlier this year. However, there is a difference in battery capacity. The Galaxy F22 will debut in India with a 6000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy A22 (European version) comes with a 5000 mAh package.
At the same time Samsung starts Galaxy A22 in India with several changes in terms of RAM and storage configuration from its European counterpart. It remains to be seen whether there will be other differences between the two devices and how the South Korean giant values the Galaxy F22 in the Indian market.
