Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max Get a new MIUI update

Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max started receiving MIUI 12.0.6.0. The new software update aims to improve the camera’s performance of phones. In particular, Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 12.0.6.0 update for the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max just days after their official launch in India. The update also comes before the first sale of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and immediately after the initial availability of the Redmi Note 10 Pro.

The latest software update for Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max carries MIUI v12.0.6.0.RKFINXM. It is 278MB in size. Xiaomi also confirmed to Gadgets 360 that the update is being introduced in stages.

According to the change log provided by Xiaomi, the MIUI 12.0.6.0 update for Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max improves the performance of the Camera application and increases its overall stability. However, the update does not include system-level changes.

The latest update also does not bring any new patches for Android protection, as both Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max are still performing the Android protection patch in February 2021.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max were starts in India together with Redmi Note 10 on March 4. While Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro both went on sale earlier this week, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max was provided a little earlier today. The Redmi Note 10 series can also be upgraded to MIUI 12.5.

Both the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max are available with a 120Hz display and four rear cameras. In contrast, the Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 64-megapixel primary sensor for the camera, while the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max carries a 108-megapixel primary sensor.
