Realme GT Neo launched in China as the second phone in the Realme GT series, after the recently released Realme GT 5G. The Realme GT Neo comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and a triple rear camera setting. It has a cutout with a hole for the selfie camera and thin frames around. There are three color options for the Realme GT Neo, as well as three RAM and storage configurations. The phone comes with a display with a high refresh rate and support for fast charging.
Realme GT Neo price, availability
Realme GT Neo Available in three storage configurations – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The basic option is at a price at 1 799 CNY (approximately 20 100 Rs), the average option is priced at 1 999 CNY (approximately 22 400 Rs) and the highest option is at 2 399 CNY (approximately 26 800 Rs). Realme GT Neo is available in Final Fantasy, Geek Silver and Hacker Black options. The phone is ready for reservations on the Realme China website and will go on sale in the country from April 8.
At the moment there is no information when Realme GT Neo will come to India, but the phone was already noticed in the Indian IMEI database and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, which implies a recent launch in India
Realme GT Neo specifications
Realme GT Neo with dual SIM (Nano) works with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. It features a 6.43-inch Samsung Super AMOLED full-HD + display (1080×2,400 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a sampling rate of 360Hz touch and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.7%. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, paired with ARM G77 MC9 GPU. The phone comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of optics, the Realme GT Neo has a triple rear camera setting that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor with f / 1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with 119-degree FoV and f / 2.3 lens, and 2-megapixel macro shooting with aperture f / 2.4. The front has a 16-megapixel sensor with f / 2.5 lens for selfies and video calls.
The Realme GT Neo comes with 5G dual mode, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. On-board sensors include a geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer. There is also a fingerprint scanner on display. Realme has packed a 4500 mAh battery in the Realme GT Neo, which supports 65W fast charging. The smartphone also comes with dual stereo speakers, dual noise reduction microphone, Dolby Audio and Hi-Res Audio certification. It measures 158.5×73.3×8.4 mm and weighs 179 grams.
