Realme GT Neo Flash Edition, launches Realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition

Realme GT Neo Flash Edition and Realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition have been launched in China. Both phones are modified versions of Realme GT Neo and Realme Q3 Pro respectively. Realme launched the GT Neo in March this year, while the Realme Q3 series launched last month in China. Realme GT Neo Flash Edition offers some improvements over the standard Realme GT Neo and offers a new color version. Similarly, the Realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition changes a few things compared to the standard Realme Q3 Pro as a SoC.

Realme GT Neo Flash Edition is at a price at 2499 CNY (approximately Rs. 28, 400) for the only 12GB + 256GB variant and is available in a new Dawn color that has a black stripe on the back, along with Final Fantasy, Geek Silver and Hacker Black.

Realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition is at a price at 1,799 CNY (approximately Rs. 20,500) for the only 8GB + 128GB option available in Castle in the Sky and Black Clever Forest (translated names) colors.

Both new models are available for pre-order through the Realme China website and will go on sale from June 1 in the country. There is currently no information on international availability.

Realme GT Neo Flash Edition specifications

The dual SIM (Nano) Realme GT Neo Flash Edition works with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. It features a 6.43-inch Full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a sampling rate of 360Hz and a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it carries the same MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of RAM with up to 256GB of storage, as seen on Realme GT Neo.

For photos and videos, the Realme GT Neo Flash Edition features a triple rear camera setting that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor with f / 1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 119-degree FoV lens and f / 2.3 and 2-megapixel macro shooting with aperture f / 2.4. The front has a 16-megapixel sensor with f / 2.5 lens for selfies and video calls. This is the same setting as the Realme GT Neo.

Connection options include 5G dual mode, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. Sensors on board the Realme GT Neo Flash Edition include a geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer. It also has a fingerprint scanner under the display. Realme has a 4500 mAh battery in the phone, which is the same as the standard Realme GT Neo, but the Flash Edition supports faster 65W fast charging instead of 50W. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 158.5×73.3×8.4 mm and weighs 179 grams.

Realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition specifications

Realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition with dual SIM (Nano) works with Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11. It has a 6.43-inch Full-HD + (1080×2 400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a frequency of 360Hz sampling, 600 nits peak brightness and 91.7 percent screen to body ratio. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 5G SoC. Standard Realme Q3 Pro comes with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 5G SoC. Carnival Edition comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

In terms of optics, the Realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition has essentially the same triple rear camera setting as the standard Realme Q3 Pro. Includes 64-megapixel sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, 8-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide-angle f / 2.2 lens (Realme Q3 Pro lens f / 2.3) and 2-megapixel macro shooting with f / 2.4 aperture. At the front, the Carnival Edition upgrades to a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with an f / 2.5 aperture instead of a 16-megapixel shooter.

Connection options include 5G dual mode, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. The Realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition is lined with a 4500 mAh battery, which is the same as the Realme Q3 Pro, but supports a faster 50W fast charge. In terms of dimensions, the Carnival Edition measures 159.1×73.4×7.9 mm and weighs 174 grams.
