The launch of the Realme X7 Max India in India may take place on May 4. Realme India CEO Madhav Shet confirmed that the brand will hold a “mega” event on that date in India, which will feature a flagship smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It is largely assumed that the phone is a Realme X7 Max, which is reported to be a rebranded Realme GT Neo, which launched in China last month. Sheth said the company will also launch a new Realme TV “with hands-free voice control with Dolby Vision & Audio experience.”
In the latest #AskMadhav episodewhere the CEO answers questions from Realme fans, Sheth revealed this Realme will host a launch event in India on May 4th. The name of the phone that will start with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC was not revealed during the episode, but before that it was inclined to be called Realme X7 Max.
If the phone turns out to be rebranded Realme GT Neo as speculated, then it will have a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED full-HD + display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Together with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, it will combine a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and 2-megapixel macro shooting. At the front, the Realme X7 Max can have a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. You are likely to pack a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh.
