Realme 8 Pro leaked in a video for pre-unpacking before launch, giving us a look at the design of the phone, its contents in the box and some software features introduced through Realme UI 2.0. Realme 8 Pro is confirmed for its release in India on March 24 and its availability has also been announced on Flipkart. Along with Realme 8 Pro, Realme 8 should also launch on the same day, and pre-orders for both smartphones have also been launched on the e-commerce site.

YouTuber Tech Spurt released unpacked video of Realme 8 Pro in front of their own March 24 launch in India. It shows the retail box of the Realme 8 Pro model – a yellow rectangular box – which has a 65W SuperDart charger, USB Type-A to Type-C cable, transparent silicone phone case, SIM disposal tool, documentation and itself phone. It can be seen that the Realme 8 Pro has a standard flat panel display with a slotted perforator placed in the upper left corner of the screen. Light frames are visible on the sides of the screen and on the chin.

On the back of the Realme 8 Pro there is an inscription “Dare to Leap”, embossed in large letters. There is a module with a square camera at the back with four sensors inside. One is a 108-megapixel sensor that uses 9-in-1 pixel connectivity technology to capture more detail. The phone also has a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Reaching the software, Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11, offers many customization features that allow users to change application icons, fonts, box colors and more. Users of Realme 8 Pro are expected to be able to customize the Always On display to a limited extent and set the dark mode in three variants – soft, medium and enhanced. There are also a bunch of gesture features for added convenience, including swiping three fingers down to take screenshots. The Realme 8 Pro interface has an app drawer and offers a special one-handed mode.

Realme 8 Pro is said to be available in infinite black and infinite blue. Realme will host a virtual event at 7:30 p.m. (IST) on March 24 to launch the new series.
