Brazilian star Neymar complained again from the Copa America on Monday.
Brazil’s quarterfinal on Friday against Uruguay or Chile will be in Rio de Janeiro at the Nilton Santos Stadium, where the field has been heavily criticized since the start of the tournament.
In an Instagram post, Neymar pondered “Where will the next match be played in Brazil?”
Neymar also criticized the pitch in Rio on June 17 after Brazil beat Peru 4-0.
“Celebrating yesterday’s goal on the” beautiful “field of Engenhao,” said the striker, using the name that Brazilians use to call the stadium. “Please fix the terrain.”
Lionel Messi and his Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni have also criticized Nilton Santos’ pitch.
Brazilian media reported over the weekend that Brazil want to play in the quarterfinals of the Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba because of the pitch at the Rio Stadium. If Brazil advances, it will also play in the semifinals at Nilton Santos.
CONMEBOL said it finished on Sunday, upgrading the pitch at Maracana Stadium for the final on July 10th.
