Wikipedia batsman in Bangladesh Mushfikyur Rahim, who scored 125 of 127 balls that helped his team win a second ODI and a series against Sri Lanka on Tuesday, saw his century overshadowed by questionable behavior on the pitch.
Rahim, a former skipper and spinner, asked Mehidi Hassan Miraz to prevent Sri Lanka’s Batsman № 3 Pathum Nissanka while running between the gates.
“When he runs, come in front of him,” Rahim was heard telling Miraz into the stump microphone.
Bangladesh won the match with 103 runs by D / L method. Sri Lanka made 141 for 9 of 40 overs in response to 246 from Bangladesh, all in 48.1 overs.
Rahim was thrilled after the performance, but felt that others should introduce themselves with a bat.
“I think Tamim [Iqbal] and Shakib [Al Hasan] celebrate regularly and because they had a bad day, players like Liton, Afif and Mossadek had to take the opportunity, “he said.
“If there are seven to eight performers, it’s easy. They need to be more selective in their choice of hit and they need to know when to play low risk and when to play high risk. I think they (teenagers) need to to contribute or else it becomes difficult for us.
