The Moto G100 and Moto G50 have launched in European markets as the latest smartphones to join Motorola’s expanding portfolio. The Moto G100 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and has a rear-facing quad camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera. Moto G100 has a 3.5 mm audio jack and dual front cameras for selfies and video calls. The Moto G50, on the other hand, is powered by a Snapdragon 480 SoC and has a triple rear camera setting. Both phones have a 5000 mAh battery.
Price of Moto G100
The new Moto G100 is at a price at € 499.99 (approximately Rs. 42,500) for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The phone will initially be sold in Europe and Latin America. The Moto G100 is available in Iridescent Ocean, Iridescent Sky and Slate Gray color options.
Moto G50, on the other hand, is priced at 229.99 euros (approximately 19,500 rupees). It will be available in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The phone is available in color options Steel Gray and Aqua Green. The Moto G50 will be available in select European markets in the coming weeks.
Moto G100 specifications
Moto G100 runs on Android 11 and has a hybrid slot with two SIMs (Nano + Nano / microSD). It has a 6.7-inch Full-HD + (1,080×2,520 pixels) LCD display with a 21: 9 aspect ratio, a screen refresh rate of 90Hz, HDR10 and an 85% screen-to-body ratio. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, combined with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Storage can be expanded via a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 1TB).
The Moto G100’s quad-rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f / 1.7, a 16-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an aperture of f / 2.2 and a field of view of 117 degrees, another 2-megapixel telephoto sensor with f / 2.4 aperture and last flight time sensor. The front of the Moto G100 has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f / 2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with f / 2.4 aperture.
Moto G100 has a 5000 mAh battery with 20W TurboPower charging. Connection options include 5G, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 6, GPS and more. The phone measures 168x74x10 mm and weighs 207 grams. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock.
Moto G50 specifications
Moto G50 runs on Android 11 and has a hybrid slot with two SIMs (Nano + Nano / Hybrid). It features a 6.5-inch HD + (720×1,600 pixels) IPS display with 269ppi pixel density and an 85 percent screen-to-body ratio. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. The phone will be available with storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB with the possibility of additional expansion using a microSD card (up to 1 TB).
The Moto G50 has a triple rear camera setting that includes a 48-megapixel main aperture sensor f / 1.7, a 5-megapixel macro sensor with an aperture of f / 2.4 and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an aperture of f / 2.4. There is also an LED flash on the back. The front of the phone has a 13-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f / 2.2.
Moto G50 has a 5000 mAh battery with 15W charging support. Connection options include Bluetooth v5, NFC, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and USB Type-C port. The phone measures 165x75x9 mm and weighs 192 grams.
