Mi Note 10 Series, Mi 10T Lite, Redmi Note 8 Get Android 11: Report

It is reported that the Mi Note 10, Mi Note 10 Pro, Mi 10T Lite and Redmi Note 8 have started receiving Android 11-based MIUI 12 in some regions. The Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro were released by Xiaomi in November 2019 with Android 9 Pie, while the Mi 10T Lite launched in September 2020 with Android 10. The Redmi Note 8 launched even earlier, in August 2018. with Android 9 share. The company seems to be updating its newer and older smartphone models. It is unknown at this time whether and when the Android 11 update for these phones will reach India.

According to a report from XDA Developers, My Note 10,, Mi 10T Lite, and Redmi Note 8 started receiving MIUI 12 based on Android 11. Separately report from Adimorah Blog shared that My Note 10 Pro also gets an update to MIUI 12 based on Android 11. The update is available for the global version of the Mi 10T Lite starts in September 2020 with Android 10. On the other hand, the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro received the update in Europe and were starts in November 2019 with Android 9 Pie. This means that the Mi Note 10 series phones have received their second update for Android and may only be the last.

The Redmi Note 8 gets an update in China and so did it starts with Android 9 Pie. Although the Mi Note 10 and Mi 10T Lite series are not available in India, the Redmi Note 8 is and can be expected to be based on the Android 11 update MIUI 12 to appear on the Indian market in the near future. Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro received MIUI 12, based on Android 10 November 2020 and August 2020 respectively.
