Launches Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 with quadruple ultrasonic shoulder buttons

Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 launched worldwide as the successor to the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel, which debuted last July. Legion Phone Duel 2 is a gaming phone that has many features designed to enhance the gaming experience, including dual cooling fans, ultrasonic triggers over the shoulder, a side-mounted charging port and more. It has a dual rear camera setup and a pop-up selfie shooter that is not placed in a typical place. Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 is available in two color options and multiple storage configurations, depending on the region.

Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 is priced at € 799 (approximately Rs 71,000) for the 12 GB + 256 GB storage option, while the 16 GB + 512 GB storage option costs € 999 (approximately Rs 88,800). The phone is available in Titanium White and Ultimate Black. The phone will be sold in selected markets in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe in May.

In China, where the phone calls Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro, the basic storage option of 8 GB + 128 GB is priced at 3,699 CNY (approximately Rs 42,200). The 12 GB + 128 GB storage option costs 4,099 yuan (approximately Rs 46,700), the 12 GB + 256 GB storage option costs CNY 4,399 (approximately Rs 50,100), and the 16 GB + 512 GB storage option costs 5,299 CNY (approximately 60,400 rupees) and finally, the 18 GB + 512 GB storage model costs 5,999 yuan (approximately 68,400 rupees). The same two colors are available in China. The phone will go on sale this month in the country.

From now, Lenovo has not shared availability information in India for Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2.

Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 with dual SIM (Nano) runs ZUI 12.5 based on Android 11. It features a 6.92-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,460 pixels) 8-bit HDR AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 20.5: 9 aspect ratio, 720Hz sampling rate, 1300 nits peak brightness and HDR10 + certification. The display also boasts 111.1 percent DCI-P3 color coverage, TUV certification for low blue light and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 is available with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and Adreno 660 GPU with up to 18 GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage space.

For photos and videos, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 features a dual rear camera setting that includes a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64A f / 1.9 lens image sensor and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle f / 2.2 lens sensor. At the front you get a 44-megapixel Samsung GH1 + sensor with f / 2.0 lens located in a pop-up mechanism located on the right side of the display. The idea behind this positioning is to allow gamers to stream while playing their Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 in landscape orientation.

Gaming phone connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2 and two USB Type-C ports, both of which can be used to charge separately or simultaneously. The phone is lined with a large battery with a capacity of 5500 mAh, which is divided into two 2750 mAh units with support for up to 90 W fast charging, when both are connected via two USB Type-C ports. The single port connection provides 65W fast charging. In terms of size, the phone measures 176×78.5×9.9mm and weighs 259 grams.

In terms of gaming-related features of the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2, it comes with dual linear HaptiX X dual-axis haptic vibration motors, quadruple ultrasonic shoulder buttons, dual pushbuttons and dual-capacity keys. It has integrated active cooling with a dual fan cooling system, where the intake fan is capable of 12,500 rpm and the exhaust fan is capable of 15,000 rpm. It also has liquid cooling with a steam chamber, as all this is housed in the center of the phone, which keeps the phone cool to the touch when under load. Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 also has RGB backlight, which can be controlled by a compatible application.
