Realme Q3, Realme Q3 Pro and Realme Q3i were introduced in China as the company’s latest budget 5G phones. Realme Q3 is powered by Snapdragon 750G SoC, Realme Q3 Pro is packed with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, and Realme Q3i is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. All three smartphone models come with triple rear cameras and a cutout with a hole for the selfie camera. The new Realme phones come in a variety of storage configurations and color options.
Realme Q3, Realme Q3 Pro, Realme Q3i price, availability
Realme Q3 is at a price at 1299 CNY (approximately Rs. 15 000) for the 6 GB + 128 GB storage option and 1399 CNY (approximately Rs. 16 200) for the 8 GB + 128 GB storage option. Available in Psychedelic Silver and Sci-Fi Black.
Realme Q3 Pro is at a price at 1,799 CNY (approximately Rs. 20,800) for the 8 GB + 128 GB storage option, and the 8 GB + 256 GB storage option costs CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,100). The Pro version is available in three colors – Electric Blue, Firefly and Gravity Black.
Realme Q3 and Realme Q3 Pro are currently ready for pre-order in China and will go on sale on April 29.
And finally, Realme Q3i costs 999 CNY (approximately Rs. 11,600) for the 4 GB + 128 GB storage option and 1099 CNY (approximately Rs. 12,700) for the 6 GB + 128 GB storage option. The phone is available in light blue and ash colors and so it is on sale in the country.
There is currently no information on when the Realme Q3 series will be available internationally.
Realme Q3 specifications
Realme Q3 works Android 11based on Realme UI 2.0. It features a 6.5-inch full-HD + (1080×2,400 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a sampling rate of 180Hz touch, a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5%, a pixel density of 405ppi and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Under the hood, the phone comes with a Snapdragon 750G SoC and an Adreno 619 GPU with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.
For photos and videos, the Realme Q3 features a triple rear camera setting that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f / 1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide-angle lens f / 2.3 and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f / 2.4 aperture . In front there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f / 2.1.
Realme Q3 connectivity options include 5G dual mode, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. On-board sensors include a geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as a power button. Realme has assembled a 5000 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging in Realme Q3. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 162.5×74.8×8.8 mm and weighs 189 grams.
Realme Q3 Pro specifications
The Pro variant features a slightly smaller 6.43-inch full-HD + (1080×2,400 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a sampling rate of 360Hz touch and a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. The Realme Q3 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC with the ARM G77 MC9 graphics processor. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
In terms of optics, the phone has almost the same configuration as the Realme Q3, but upgrades the main sensor to a 64-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f / 1.8. The front selfie shooter has a 16-megapixel sensor with an f / 2.5 lens.
The connection options and sensors are the same as the Realme Q3, but the 3.5mm headphone jack has been removed here. The Pro variant comes with a smaller battery at 4500mAh with 30W fast charging. The Realme Q3 Pro has a fingerprint sensor on the display instead of a side mount. The phone measures 158.5×73.3×8.4 mm and weighs 179 grams.
Realme Q3i specifications
Realme Q3i has the same display as Realme Q3, but with a refresh rate of 90Hz instead of 120Hz. Under the hood, the Realme Q3i comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It also has a triple rear camera setting, which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f / 1.8 lens, monochrome sensor with f / 2.4 lens and macro shooter with f / 2.4 lens. The details of the selfie camera are currently unclear.
It also has 5G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C charging port. It is supported by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The Realme Q3i has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 185 grams.
