The Moto G100 may launch worldwide on March 25. A new leak seems to suggest that Motorola is preparing to host a launch event on March 25 and is expected to largely introduce the Moto G100 on this occasion. The phone was spotted in renderings only a day ago. Motorola previously annoyed the arrival of a new phone with Snapdragon 870 SoC. It is widely reported that the Moto G100 is a new version of the Motorola Edge S, which already debuted in China in January this year.
Nils Ahrensmeier from TechnikNews tweet “Save the date” poster of the upcoming Motorola event on March 25. He seems to be suggesting that this upcoming event will kick off Moto G100which is probably given leaks in the recent past. There is no official announcement from Motorola yet. If there really is an event scheduled for next week, the company is expected to announce it in an official capacity soon.
Motorola has they have already released a teaser which gave us looks at the upcoming new phone. The teaser confirmed that the upcoming phone can be powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC and have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It can also be seen that the phone has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a speaker grille at the bottom. The phone in the teaser looks very similar to Motorola Edge S which was released in January in Chinaand there are announcements about the launch of the phone on the world market as the Motorola G100.
It even turns out that have expired yesterday added more weight to the claim that the Motorola G100 is a rebrand of the Edge S. The phone features a dual selfie camera setup, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and four rear cameras. This is very similar to what the Motorola Edge S looks like in China. With so many leaks coming out in a row, Motorola should soon make an official announcement.
