Experienced step with left hand Jade’s uncut will lead Saurashtra’s team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, starting on February 20th.
The Saurashtra Cricket Association announced a team of 20 people in a media release published here on Thursday.
The selectors chose people like Arpit Vasavada, Chirag Jani, Avi Barot, Prerak Mankad and Vishwarajsinh Jadeja as specialized batsmen, along with young goalie Harvik Desai, who also played for India U-19.
The bowling attack, which will be led by Unadkat itself, includes left-handed cheater Chetan Sakarya and 30-year-old orthodox slow-moving bowler Dharmendrasin Jadeya, along with the spinning Kamlesh Makwana.
Saurashtra are placed in Elite Group E for the national one-day championship, along with Jammu and Kashmir, Hariana, Bengal, Chandigarh and Services and will play their matches in Kolkata.
They begin their campaign against Jammu and Kashmir on February 21.
