The development was confirmed for PTI by a source from the SRH team, who also said the entire squad had entered isolation.
“He had a fever and has been in isolation for the last five days. We are also asked to stay in the room,” the source said.
This comes after Wednesday IPL The game between Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals was postponed after the bowling coach CSK L Balaji tested positive for the virus.
On Monday, the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore was also postponed after the boots of KKR Sandeep Warrier and Varun Chakravarthy tested positive for the infection.
