Chris Morris of South Africa, who led the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to a six-cabinet victory against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier LeagueIPL) played last Saturday, says his favorite players in world cricket are Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya.
Speaking to host Sanju Samson – who is RR’s skipper by the way – Maurice said: “Sanju is my favorite No. 1 player, obviously because I’ve been watching him for a long time and I’ve watched him develop into the man and player he is today, but I I really enjoy the game of Hardik (Panja). I think he’s a show hitchhiker – he’s in prime time. ”
In a video posted on RR’s homepage on Monday, Samson, who scored an undefeated 42 against KKR, agreed with Morris’ thumbs-up assessment.
Samone took full credit for his striking skills in South African cricket.
“The best advice I’ve ever received was from you (Morris). And it was to break every ball I came across. I’ve been doing this since 2016 when I met you. And, yes, it feels good.” said Samson, who broke a brilliant 119 in a loss to the Punjab Kings in his opening game.
Samson said that while hitting the ball from all corners of the ground, it was something he loved, “the hardest thing he had to do as captain was to speak during team meetings.”
“It’s the hardest task … to talk at every meeting. I hate to do it; everyone expects me to give a long speech. Although I may be doing well, I feel like I actually hate it,” Samson said.
The RR captain wants his bat to talk.
