Kimran Pollard, the star of the Mumbai Indians, went online for the first time since joining the team before the release of the Indian Premier League in 2021. The franchise will play its first game of the season on April 9 against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The 33-year-old West Indian, the most limited player for the five-time defenders of the champion, completed his quarantine before training.
A video of the right-handed batsman playing various punches was uploaded by the defending champions on their official Twitter handle on Thursday.
Pollard, who has been with the Mumbai Indians for a long time, is their second best result (3,023 runs) after Rohit Sharma (5230 tracks) and grabbed 60 wickets.
He also broke 198 sixes and is the second highest for his franchise after Rohit, who has 213 sixes in his name.
Pollard recently equaled Yuvraj Singh’s six-six record in the T20Is during the series against Sri Lanka by hitting a spinner Акила Дананджая for six consecutive maximum hits.
The Mumbai Indians are the defensive champions of the tournament, winning the 2020 edition after defeating the Delhi Capitals in the final.
