The Mumbai Indians are walking Jasprit bumrah joined the franchise and began quarantine, but left no stone unturned to enter the lock for the upcoming 14th season of the Indian Premier League.
Bumra had missed India’s limited leg against England because he had taken leave for personal reasons. Pacer had tied the knot with sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan on March 15.
Bumra shared a video in which he did several exercises in his hotel room with the caption “Quarantine and receive these repetitions in 100”.
According to the BCCI guidelines, players will undergo a mandatory seven-day quarantine before going out on the field. Few players like Chris Lynn, Anukul Roy, Piyush Chaula have already started their training under the watchful eyes of the coaches.
Meanwhile, the skipper Rohit Sharma, brothers Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav also joined the detachment and began their quarantine period.
Mumbai Indians, the five-time winners of IPL trophy, will start IPL 2021 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
