Delhi Capitals bought 8 players at the IPL 2021 auction, spending the most on England universal player Tom Curran (Rs 5.25 crore).

The capitals of Delhi began theirs IPL 2021 Auction with impressive rupees. 2.2 crores stolen from Australia Steve Smith. Along with the three foreign players, Capitals also bought India International Umesh Yadav at its base price (Rs 1 crore).

Unlimited players Ripal Patel, Vishnu Vinod, Lukman Meriwala and M Siddarth were bought at their base price of Rh 20 at auction.

Prior to the IPL 2021 auction, DC released six players, including four foreign stars from the team. They include Alex Carey, Sandip Lamichhane, Jason Roy and Kim Paul.

The team is currently led by the beating Shrayas Ayer, who is a regular member of the limited squads in India. Some of the other Indian players in the country include Ravichandran Ashwin, Shihar Davan, Prithvi Shaw, Aksar Patel and Adjinkya Rahane.
