On Friday, BCCI announced the Indian team for ODI for the upcoming series of three matches against England. Suryakumar Yadav, who enjoyed a brilliant appearance in his initial T20I inning on Thursday, won an initial call-up to the ODI team, as did Prasid Krishna.
Mohamed Shami and Ravindra JadejaIndia’s first-selected players from ODI remain absent as they continue to recover from injuries sustained during last year’s tour of Australia. Jasprit bumrah also remained unavailable for selection.
T Natarajan, who was impressive in the only ODI to play against Australia last year, kept his place on the sidelines, along with other fast bowlers Bhuvneshwar, Prasidh and Shardul Thakur. Mohamed Siraj also made a comeback.
The ODI series starts on March 23 and all matches will be played at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
