Indian teen sensation Shafali Verma maintained her position among the beating T20s, while Catherine Bryce became the first woman from Scotland to rank in the top 10 in the latest ICC rankings published on Tuesday.
Shafali holds his highest rank with 776 points, well ahead of Australia’s Beth Mooney (744) and Meg Lanning (709). Indian Vice Captain T20 Die Mandhana is ranked fourth while Jemima Rodriguez is the third Indian dough in the ninth position.
The highlight of the latest list is the universal Scottish Bryce, for his good show, finishing as the leading scorer of his team, although he lost a series of four T20 games against Ireland 1-3.
India also has two bowlers in the top 10 on the spinner list Deepti Sharma of the sixth and left-handed spinner Radha Yadav only one degree below the seventh.
Deepti has 705 points in the standings, while Radha enters the home 702.
The list of bowlers is led by the left-handed spinner of England Sophie Ecclestone.
