Google Pixel 5a – the successor to the company’s mid-range Pixel 4a – may be released soon in India. Although Google has not yet made an official confirmation, an unknown Pixel phone with model number GR0M2 has appeared on the website of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The model is believed to be a Pixel 5a. The new smartphone is expected to appear in the US in June. Last year, Google introduced the Pixel 4a as its new model in the range.
However, the number of the protruding model does not match those associated with previous models in the Pixel series. The Pixel 4afor example, it debuted with the model number G025N and Pixel 3a had G020F.
However, Google Pixel 5a is expected to be under development in the last few months and would do so arrive on June 11. It is expected to have almost the same design and shape of the Pixel 4a, although with some channels at the hardware level.
Recently updated camera app from the Pixel series suggested that the Pixel 5a will be available with a smaller cutout display design for a selfie camera above what we have on existing Pixel phones. Some 3D CAD also render Pixel 5a appeared online which suggest a plastic construction.
Gadgets 360 was unable to immediately verify the reported information about Pixel 5a. It is therefore safe to examine the details with a pinch of salt.
