Cristiano Ronaldo has a chance to become the best goal scorer of all time with a national team. Kylian Mbappé will try to lead France to a second consecutive big title. Robert Lewandowski hopes to continue to thrive after winning the Player of the Year award.

Ronaldo, Mbape and Lewandowski will be among some of the players who will watch this year’s European Championship, along with such as Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane, Bruno Fernandez, Eden Hazard and Antoine Griezmann.

At 36, Ronaldo is getting closer to saying goodbye to the Portuguese national team. Before he finishes his run, he will try to add another entry to his name.

Ronaldo is six goals away from tying the all-time record for the men’s national team. The record of 109 goals is held by the former striker of Iran Ali Daei, the only other male player who has surpassed the milestone of 100 goals.

Ronaldo will have a chance to add to his result before Euro 2020 in warm-up matches against Spain and Israel. The defending European champions will start their defense against Hungary before playing Germany and France in heavyweight group F.

The Juventus striker has scored for Portugal every calendar year since his first international goal in 2004. Another Portuguese player to watch Euro 2020 will be Fernandez, the talented playmaker who has thrived since joining Manchester United last year.

As a teenager, Mbappé was one of the sensations of the 2018 World Cup as he helped France win the title. Three years later, he could take on a more prominent lead as he tries to help Les Blues succeed in Euro 2020.

Mbappé shared the leading role of the team in Russia with Griezmann, but this time he could take center stage, having a few more years of experience with Paris Saint-Germain and with Griezmann coming out of the brilliant season with Barcelona.

Mbape had a strong end to his season, scoring nine goals in PSG’s last eight games. He finished with 11 goals more than last season.

Robert Lewandowski’s goals and outstanding performances with Bayern Munich last season helped him win the Player of the Year award. Now he will try to repeat his success with Poland on the international stage.

Lewandowski’s season is just as impressive as in 2019-20, and he has an incredible 22 goals in his last 14 games for club and country. He scored at least one goal in every game during this series.

No one scored more goals than Kane in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. The England captain had 12 goals in qualifiers, along with five assists. He had one more goal than Ronaldo and Israel striker Eran Zahavi.

The Tottenham striker was also the top scorer in the last World Cup and top scorer in the Premier League this season with 23 goals.

Kane has scored 34 goals since his debut in England in 2015 and is on track to break Wayne Rooney’s national team record of 53 goals.

De Bruyne was again crucial in helping Manchester City win another Premier League title, and Belgium will also need him to be at their best to fight for the European title.

De Bruyne managed to play the playmaker with Man City, scoring 11 goals to see him reach double assists for the fourth time in six seasons.

He could potentially get help from Hazard, who doubted he would play if the tournament had taken place last year. The Real Madrid striker continued to be tainted by injuries, but was healthy towards the end of this season and may be a surprise for the postponed Euro 2020.
