Scotland midfielder Billy Gilmore has tested positive for coronavirus and will have to be isolated for 10 days, the team said on Monday.

The Chelsea player will miss his team’s last Group D match against Croatia on Tuesday and a potential match in the round of 16.

Gilmore was a UEFA player in Friday’s 0-0 draw against England at Wembley Stadium.

Players are tested regularly and remain within the team, except when in matches. The Scottish Football Association said it had kept in touch with public health in England, but did not say if anyone else was considered close and would have to be isolated.

Scotland have one point from their two Group D matches.
