Pacer Freya Davis and Universal Bowling Sarah Glenn were released on Friday from the England team for a one-time test against India, starting on June 16.
Earlier this week, England announced a 17-member team for the competition.
The duo has been released to compete in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy (RHFT).
“Sarah Glenn and Freya Davis have been released from the England women’s test team and will both play for their regional teams in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy matches this weekend – in preparation for the ODI series that follows,” The English Cricket Tweet.
The hosts England will play a one-time test match against India, which will play its first test in seven years in Bristol on Wednesday.
After the one-off test, India and England will sound horns in three ODIs from June 27. Matches must be played in Bristol, Taunton and Worcester.
India and England will then face off in three T20Is, starting on July 9, in Northampton, Hove and Chelmsford.
