“Straight from Donald J.’s desk. Trump, “said in a 30-second video posted on the site, which includes links to his ban on social media.
The website includes written statements issued by Trump after he left office on January 20. The platform has a camera feature that Trump can use to make video applications.
Having been banned by social media platforms, including Facebook, the former president launched the communication platform on the eve of a decision by Facebook’s supervisory board whether to release it back on the social networking site.
First reported by Fox News, the communications platform went live more than four months after Facebook, Twitter and other social media companies banned Trump’s tweets and posts about the general election that sparked the January 6 uprising in the US Capitol.
