Written by admin

The Indian government has announced phase 3 vaccination in the country amid a steep jump in COVID-19 cases. All citizens over the age of 18 will be entitled to vaccination from 1 May. Currently, only citizens over the age of 45 are allowed to get the vaccine. The latest cases in India are 2.94 lakh, the second highest in the world. Users must register for the vaccine online before heading to hospitals and firing their first shot.

MyGovIndia announced on Twitter that Phase 3 will begin on May 1, and vaccination registrations will begin soon through the CoWIN platform and the Aarogya Setu app. There is no application for the CoWIN site and registrations can only be made through the website. The government is likely to open registrations before May 1 to make the ball roll in advance. At the time of writing, the registration process is still restricted to users over the age of 45, but this should soon be extended to all users over the age of 18.

How do I register online for the COVID-19 vaccine?
