Cheteshwar Pujara is ready to return to the Indian Premier League for the first time since 2014, as it has been introduced three times IPL champions Chennai Super Kings at its base price of 50 INR at the IPL 2021 auction in Chennai.
Pujara played for the last time in the IPL for the Kings XI Punjab in their run to the final. Overall, he was part of two other IPL franchises – Kolkata Knight Riders between 2008 and 2010 and Royal Challengers Bangalore between 2011 and 2013. In 30 appearances in the history of the tournament, he scored 390 runs at an average of 20.53 in a strike of 99 , 74.
He also played 64 T20 games in the inner round, scoring 1,356 tracks in 29.47 with a century and seven fifties.
Chennai, earlier in the evening, also entered Mouen Ali for INR 7 crores and added another universal bowling alley in Krishnapa Gotham for INR 9.25 crores, making it the most expensive unlimited player in IPL history.
