Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro launch in China. The smartphones have significant improvements over their predecessors – Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro. They have displays with a refresh rate of 144Hz and UFS 3.1 flash memory. While the pro variant features the highest-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, the non-professional model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. The company has also released a number of accessories that include Cooling Back Clip 2 Pro and in-ear headphones.
Black Shark 4 Pro, Black Shark 4 price, availability
Black Shark 4 Pro is priced at 3,999 CNY (approximately Rs. 44,400) for the base 8GB + 256GB storage option. The 12 GB + 256 GB storage option is priced at CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs. 50,000), and the 16 GB + 512 GB storage model can be purchased for CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs 58,800). It will be available in Ink Sea Black and Suikong Black colors Black Shark Shop from March 25.
On the other hand, Black Shark 4 launches in four storage options. The 6 GB + 128 GB storage option is priced at 2499 CNY (approximately Rs 27,700), the 8 GB + 128 GB storage model can be purchased for 2,699 CNY (approximately Rs 30,000), and the price of the 12 GB + 128 GB storage option is set at CNY 2999 (approximately Rs. 33 300). The best option with a 12GB + 256GB storage model is priced at 3299 CNY (approximately Rs. 36,600). It will be available in Ink Sea Black, Lingguang Gray and Magic Mirror Black Black Shark Shop from March 25.
Both phones are currently available for pre-order in the company’s online store.
Black shark also released several accessories with gaming smartphones. The first is the 3.5mm Black Shark gaming headset (standard edition), which costs 149 yuan (approximately Rs 1,600). The headphones are also available in a special edition Ring Iron Edition, which promises better sound quality and is priced at 249 CNY (approximately 2700 rupees). There is a Black Shark Cooling Back Clip 2 Pro, priced at 199 CNY (approximately Rs. 2200). The company also launched the Black Shark 20,000mAh power bank of CNY 159 (approximately Rs 1,700). Both phones are equipped with an armored thermal shield at a price of CNY 79 (approximately Rs. 800). There is also a fluorescent protective sheath, which is priced at CNY 39 (approximately Rs. 400).

Black Shark 4 Pro with dual SIM (nano) runs on JoyUI 12.5, based on Android 11. It has a 6.67-inch Full-HD + Samsung E4 display with 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz sampling rate. The display features a perforator design, and the cutout has a front camera. Under the hood, the Black Shark 4 Pro comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also has an SSD for faster operation.
In the camera department, the Black Shark 4 Pro has a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera paired with an f / 1.79 lens. It has an 8-megapixel sensor with f / 2.2 ultra-wide lens and a tertiary 5-megapixel sensor with f / 2.4 macro lens. At the front is a 20-megapixel sensor with f / 2.45 lens for selfies and video calls. The smartphone has a 4500 mAh battery with 120 W fast charge, which can fully charge the phone in less than 15 minutes. The headset comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and features dual speakers along with motorized shoulder buttons.
Built-in sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope and proximity sensor. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and the phone has a light effect on the back panel. Finally, the smartphone measures 163.83×76.35×9.9 mm and weighs 220 grams.
