Apple introduces AirTag trackers, a new purple color for the iPhone 12

Apple at its Spring Loaded event on Tuesday announced a new purple color option for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. Will go up for pre-orders from this week. The new color has “elements of sophistication and brightness,” according to Apple CEO Tim Cook. The purple variant will join the already available black, blue, green, red and white colors. Also at the Spring Loaded event, the long-awaited AirTags trackers were announced, which aim to help you find everything they were attached to using the Find My app.

AirTags are priced at Rs. 3 190 for one and Rs. 10,900 for four packs. There are also Hermes accessories in which AirTags can be worn. AirTags will go on sale on April 30. In the US, AirTags are priced at $ 29 (approximately Rs 2,200) for a single tile and $ 99 (approximately Rs 7,500)) for a package of 4 and will go up for pre-orders from 5:00 PM PDT (5:30 PM IST) on April 23 .

As we know, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini have Super Retina XDR displays. They are powered by the A14 Bionic chip and come with 5G connectivity. There are dual 12-megapixel cameras on the back of both phones. There is another 12-megapixel selfie shooter in the front. Apple says the iPhone 12 can last up to 17 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 12 mini can last up to 15 hours. They support MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W and Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W.

AirTags use Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology to find items. It comes with a U1 chip that allows it to find Apple devices such as the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch models. AirTags use audible beeps to help you find the device to which they are connected. It is waterproof, has NFC, Bluetooth LE, accelerometer, Siri support and claimed one year battery life.
