Mishra was one of the players who tested positive during the Indian Premier LeagueIPL), which led to the postponement of the money-rich T20 league earlier this month.

Mishra was part of the Delhi Capitals squad in Ahmedabad when it turned out positive. While the rest of the team was dispersed, he was left behind.
Kolkata Knight Riders was the other team in Ahmedabad that saw the players positive for Covid-19. M Prasidh Krishna, Tim Seifert, Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier were KKR players with a positive test.
In Delhi, the franchises that will be affected by the virus are Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH).
CSK coaches Michael Hussey and Lakshmipati Balaji are positive, while SRH’s Wirddhiman Saha is infected with the virus.
